This Handturned Segmented Wood Bowl is from my Southwest Inspirations Collection, inspired by Southwest Native American pottery interpreted in a wood bowl.  The bowl features 12 Mahogany Segments in the feature ring, banded with Purpleheart.  The body of the bowl is made from Spalted Maple and the top trim ring is made from Brazilian Cherry and more Spalted Maple. The bowl is made up of 108 individually cut pieces of wood.  The bowl measures 8-1/2" in diameter and is 4" tall and the opening at the top is 3".  The bowl is finished in several coats of Hi Gloss Lacquer.

This Handturned Segmented Wood Bowl is from my Southwest Inspirations Collection, inspired by Southwest Native American pottery interpreted in a wood bowl.  The bowl features a Thunderbird feature ring. The bowl is made from Maple, Walnut and Brazilian Cherry.  All the wood is from storm damaged North Carolina trees or reclaimed, discarded furniture. The bowl is made up of 288 individually cut pieces of wood.  The bowl measures 10" in diameter and is 6" tall.

This Handturned Segmented Wood Bowl is from my Southwest Inspirations Collection, inspired by Southwest Native American pottery interpreted in a wood bowl.  The bowl features a feature ring made from Walnut, Maple and Wenge. All the wood is from storm damaged North Carolina trees or reclaimed, discarded furniture. The bowl is made up of 180 individually cut pieces of wood.  The bowl measures 11" in diameter and is 5" tall and the opening at the top is 5-1/4".  The bowl is finished in several coats of Hi Gloss Lacquer.

This Handturned Segmented Wood Bowl is from my Southwest Inspirations Collection, inspired by Southwest Native American pottery interpreted in a wood bowl.  The bowl features a central ring made of Ice Blue Acrylic blocks, banded with repurposed Mahogany.  The main body of the bowl is made from Tiger (Fiddleback) Maple.  The top feature ring is more Maple, banded by reclaimed Walnut. The bowl is made up of 144 individually cut pieces of wood.  The bowl measures 8-1/2" in diameter and is 5-1/2" tall and the opening at the top is 5-1/4".  The bowl is finished in several coats of Hi Gloss Lacquer.

The bowl is made up of 144 individually cut pieces of wood.  The bowl measures 8" in diameter and is 4-1/4" tall. The bowl is finished in several coats of hand rubbed Hi Gloss Lacquer.
