Adult Cremation Urn

Honor your loved one with this hand-crafted Urn made in the tradition of fine American craftsmen. The Urn is made from 146 pieces of hand selected, premium hardwood. Each layer is comprised of 12 segments to enhance the color and grain of the wood. Do not be misled by imitation, factory made urns that are just boards stacked on each other. Each segment is chosen and assembled by hand to give the Urn movement and character. The wood is sourced from the Appalachian Mountains of the Eastern United States or premium exotics from South American and Europe. This can be an heirloom piece of art to be passed down to generations in remembrance of your families treasured loved one.

Urn Features:

This Adult Cremation Urn is made from Appliachian Mountains Cherry.  The lid has wood turned screw threads. To open/close the urn, simply screw the the lid on like a jar.

Details of this Urn:

The Urn measures 7-1/2″ in diameter and is 9-1/2″ tall.  The volume of all my Urns is at least 200 Cubic Inches and no more than 225 Cubic Inches as recommend.  It is finished in several coats of Hi Gloss Lacquer, the same finish used in fine furniture

All of my work is signed by me, Serial Numbered and the species of wood recorded on the bottom.  These Urns typically sell for $300-$400 locally, but buying direct from DMW Woodworking allows you to purchase a premier quality Urn at a reasonable cost and free 2/3 day shipping.
