Custom Laser Etching (Wood Burning) for Full Sized and Medium Sized Urns
DMW Woodworking is pleased to be able to offer customized Laser Etching for the Lid of all my Urns. The Laser burns the inscription into the lid (similar to wood burning) for a permanent memorial to a loved one. The Lid is etched and then the finish applied for a beautiful, professional remembrance.
Please read the following on selecting options. As always, if you have questions, please contact me. Normally, please add 1-2 days to the delivery so I can engrave and finish the Lid.
Font Selection:
All Engraving is in Century Gothic Font. The font scales well and etches into the wood well. Size runs from 18pt to 40pt depending on the number of characters and Urn Size. This font is used in all the samples.
Please keep in mind, the lid is 3″ in diameter. The longer the inscription the smaller the font. Normally 3 lines of Name, Birth/Death Date and a third memory line works well. Dates MAY need to be reduced to abbreviations, ie: September 01, 1975 may need to be Sep 1, 1975 to fit on the lid. Please list your preference, I will do all I can to fit it and still be readable.
Lines & Graphics
Pleases choose 1, 2 or 3 lines with the following limits
1 Lines: Available on all Urns, 24 Characters Maximum on Full Sized Urns, 12 Characters on Medium Urns
2 Lines: Available on all Urns with a graphic or scroll work, 24 Characters Maximum, 12 on Medium Urns
3 Lines: Available on Full Sized Urns with no graphics, 20 Characters Maximum, not available Medium Urns
All Graphics $ 5.00 Maximum of 1 and will take the place of a single line. Please note GRAPHIC on the line order form.
